History
 

In 1949, Joe Fitzgerald went to work at White’s Sinclair Station on the northeast corner of Easton & Jenkintown Roads, in Glenside, PA. The US Army called in 1952 and Joe spent most of 1953 in Korea. Out of the army and back to work at White’s, Joe married Joan Darrow of Glenside. Joe became a partner in White’s Service Station in 1955 and the business expanded into tire sales and repair services. In 1957, the first alignment rack was purchased, therefore providing complete tire service. In the fall of 1960, the business moved across the street to its present location. In 1975, Joe’s partner died and Joe became the sole owner. The name of the business was changed to Fitzgerald Tire & Auto Service.

In The Present
  Fitzgerald’s Tire & Auto Service presently has 8 ASE certified mechanics, state of the art tire changing equipment, the latest in computerized alignment equipment, and all of the latest equipment and technology to do general repairs.

Environmentally we recycle; tires, batteries, antifreeze, Freon from air conditioning systems, hydraulic fluids, and motor oil.
